The role

We’re supporting a private-equity backed global manufacturer undergoing a group-wide digital transformation. They require an Enterprise Data Architect to drive the next phase of their data architecture, connecting plant operational systems with SAP, analytics and financial reporting.

Location: Barcelona

Hybrid: 3 days in office

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise data architecture across a complex IT & OT landscape
• Shape architecture across SAP BDC, Azure, Databricks and Power BI
• Define data modelling, semantic and ontology principles
• Establish data governance and master data standards
• Define integration across manufacturing, SAP and reporting platforms
• Educate technical and business teams on data architecture principles

• Future-state architecture & IT/OT integration blueprint

• Continued development of the implementation roadmap

Profile

• Enterprise / Data Architect from a complex corporate environment
• Strong data modelling, semantics, ontology and governance experience
• Azure data platforms, ideally Databricks, and SAP exposure
• Manufacturing / chemicals / pharma / industrial experience
• Able to work with both technical teams and CFO/CIO stakeholders
