Job Summary

The Enterprise GenAI Product Manager coordinates product strategy, discovery, requirements, product design, and roadmap planning for KeyBank’s portfolio of centrally supported Generative AI platforms, tools, and shared capabilities.

The role partners with Lines of Business, Shared Services, end users, governance partners, and technology teams to identify common needs and translate recurring demand into product concepts, user experiences, requirements, and roadmap priorities. This includes leading the product design and evolution of the AI Marketplace and related experiences that help employees discover, access, and use approved AI capabilities.

Serving as a central organizing point across existing and emerging enterprise GenAI capabilities, the Product Manager maintains an integrated view of how those capabilities work together, the needs they address, where they overlap, where gaps remain, and the support required for responsible adoption and growth. The role evaluates emerging tools and platform capabilities based on their potential value to KeyBank, intended users, access models, enterprise fit, and alignment with Key’s governance expectations and risk appetite.

The Product Manager partners with the GenAI Platform Engineering team, Microsoft and Google platform teams, Architecture, Governance, Risk, Information Security, and other stakeholders to move approved product concepts from discovery through design, build, launch, and ongoing enhancement.

Essential Functions

  • Lead product discovery with Lines of Business, Shared Services, end users, capability owners, and governance and technology partners to identify recurring demand, common enterprise needs, and opportunities for centrally supported capabilities.
  • Translate stakeholder needs and portfolio insights into product concepts, user journeys, business and functional requirements, experience designs, acceptance criteria, and prioritized roadmaps.
  • Lead the product design and evolution of the AI Marketplace, enterprise prompt resources, capability catalogs, and other centrally supported GenAI products and experiences.
  • Partner with the GenAI Platform Engineering team and other technical teams to translate approved product concepts and requirements into delivered capabilities through design, development, testing, release, and ongoing enhancement.
  • Lead business exploration of emerging GenAI products and capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio LE, Agent Builder, Gemini Enterprise, Scout, evaluation platforms, and future enterprise AI offerings.
  • Maintain an integrated view of the enterprise GenAI product portfolio, evaluating how platforms and capabilities interact, where they overlap, where gaps remain, and where expansion, integration, consolidation, replacement, retirement, or additional investment should be considered.
  • Develop recommendations regarding product positioning, intended users, access models, priority use cases, product boundaries, rollout approaches, and readiness conditions for centrally supported GenAI tools and services.
  • Evaluate proposed products and significant enhancements for employee value, enterprise fit, usability, scalability, support requirements, organizational readiness, governance and risk considerations, and compatibility with Key’s risk appetite.
  • Develop business cases, product recommendations, options analyses, roadmap updates, and executive decision materials for enterprise GenAI product and capability decisions.
  • Maintain current product information, including purpose, scope, target users, available capabilities, limitations, requirements, roadmap, dependencies, access and support models, ownership, and release-readiness considerations.
  • Define measures of adoption, coverage, readiness, value, user experience, and capability maturity with platform, portfolio, and reporting partners. Use research, feedback, pilots, demand patterns, usage information, and platform insights to guide product enhancements.
  • Coordinate product roadmaps, dependencies, handoffs, and readiness activities across Platform Engineering, Governance, Risk, Architecture, Communications & Enablement, Learning, Support, Finance, and platform-owner teams.
  • Support product lifecycle decisions involving the introduction, expansion, integration, consolidation, replacement, or retirement of enterprise GenAI capabilities. Serve as a knowledgeable point of coordination for current and planned enterprise GenAI products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities, and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Comply with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.
