The Opportunity Medavie is seeking an Enterprise Initiative Lead- Mission-Based Teams to provide strategic direction and enable the successful delivery of high-impact enterprise initiatives in support of Medavie’s business objectives and 2030 Corporate Strategy. Working within the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO), this role oversees a portfolio of strategically significant initiatives while helping evolve, optimize, and continuously improve the MBT model. This is an opportunity to operate at the centre of enterprise transformation. The Enterprise Initiative Lead - Mission-Based Teams acts as an enterprise orchestrator and strategic integrator, bringing clarity, accountability, and momentum to complex, cross-divisional work. The role partners closely with Mission Sponsors, Business Leaders, Division Leads, Shared Services, delivery teams, and Enterprise Prioritization to turn enterprise priorities into measurable outcomes. What you will do Define and steward initiative-level objectives, KPIs, milestones, and outcome measures in partnership with Mission Sponsors and Business Leads. Shape and mobilize Mission-Based Teams by securing the right enterprise capabilities, onboarding team members, and reinforcing clear roles, expectations, tools, and ways of working. Establish and evolve MBT governance, decision rights, escalation paths, and meeting cadences to support timely, effective decision-making. Serve as a strategic advisor and integration point between executive sponsors, senior leaders, Shared Services, and delivery teams. Maintain focus and momentum across complex initiatives by removing barriers, navigating ambiguity, and enabling teams to operate with confidence and autonomy. Monitor initiative performance against target outcomes, diagnose risks, recommend corrective action, and provide executive-level reporting on progress, dependencies, risks, and value realization. Champion continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and sharing insights that strengthen future MBT delivery. What you will bring A strategic, systems-oriented leadership style with the ability to translate enterprise priorities into clear roadmaps, governance, outcomes, and accountabilities. Executive presence and credibility, with the ability to influence senior leaders without relying on formal authority. Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills to align stakeholders across divisions, Shared Services, and delivery teams. Comfort operating in a fast-paced, agile, and ambiguous transformation environment. A practical, outcome-focused approach to removing barriers, managing competing priorities, and keeping teams focused on measurable value. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Management, Organizational Leadership, Engineering, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience directing enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, transformations, or complex cross-functional programs with well-defined objectives and critical success factors. Demonstrated success leading large-scale agile transformations and influencing senior executives through organizational change. Strong strategic thinking, systems thinking, enterprise problem-solving, facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across complex organizational environments. Strong organization, time management, cross-functional coordination, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred qualifications Experience working within an enterprise transformation office or similar enterprise portfolio environment. Experience with Mission-Based Teams, agile delivery models, transformation governance, or enterprise prioritization frameworks. Experience supporting executive-level reporting, decision-making, and value realization across complex initiatives. Language: English, spoken and written. Bilingual (English & French an asset) Security Requirement: This role requires Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). Candidates must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency. Working conditions Hybrid corporate office environment requires working both remotely from home and in-office. Strategic environment with multiple concurrent initiatives. Frequent collaboration with senior stakeholders across divisions, Shared Services, and the ETO. Occasional extended hours may be required during high-priority mission deadlines.
