BECOME® Institute was founded on the research of scientist, author, and serial entrepreneur Eric Bartels into what enables exceptional leaders, brands, and organizations to become true ultraperformers. The research, its discoveries, and its implications have been documented in a series of books.

That research led to the BECOME® Ontology and the BECOME® Framework: an integrated way of thinking, business logic, and business architecture for the 21st century. The BECOME® Program enables leaders and organizations to implement this architecture in practice—from their intrinsic identity and purpose through strategy, culture, organization, and everyday execution.

FROM KNOWLEDGE TO PRACTICE

BECOME® Institute is the source of the research, knowledge and intellectual property. It develops and continuously advances the BECOME® Ontology, the BECOME® Framework and the BECOME® Program.

BECOME Alliance is our practical and entrepreneurial expression of that work. Through BECOME Alliance, Partners bring the Institute’s thinking and methodology into organizations and help leaders implement them in practice. Together they form one integrated ecosystem: BECOME® Institute as the source and BECOME Alliance as the practice.

Most consultancies address one business problem at a time: strategy, positioning, culture, transformation, innovation, organization, or execution. Our research shows that these seemingly different problems frequently share the same underlying cause. By addressing that deeper cause, the BECOME® Program can solve, in one integrated transformation, problems for which organizations would normally engage several different specialist consultancies.

We are now expanding BECOME Alliance and are looking for entrepreneurial professionals who want to become Partners.

A NEW KIND OF COMPANY

BECOME Alliance represents a fundamentally different organizational model.

As a BECOME Alliance Partner, you are part of one shared company, brand, methodology, and international Partner network. At the same time, you operate as an entrepreneur and develop your own practice, client relationships, and income within BECOME Alliance.

You are therefore neither a conventional employee nor an independent consultant operating alone. You become a Partner in a collective enterprise: independent in entrepreneurship, united in identity, knowledge, market positioning, and ambition.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Build and develop your own practice within BECOME Alliance.

Work with CEOs, leadership teams, and marketers on fundamental business challenges and transformation.

Introduce and deliver the BECOME® Program to clients.

Apply the BECOME® Ontology, Framework, methodology, intellectual property, and tools.

Develop lasting client relationships and identify new opportunities.

Collaborate with other BECOME Alliance Partners and actively help build the company and its market position.

Contribute your own experience, perspective, and entrepreneurial energy to the continued development of BECOME Alliance.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To apply, you must have demonstrable, relevant professional experience in AT LEAST ONE of these four backgrounds:

1. STRATEGY AND ORGANISATIONAL CONSULTING — hands-on experience in business strategy or organisational development, gained in consultancy or a responsible in-house role.

2. MARKETING AND BRANDS — several years of practical marketing or brand experience within a company or agency. You do not need to have held the title of brand strategist.

3. ENTREPRENEURSHIP — personally founding and substantially growing a business, with responsibility for its commercial development, organisation and results. A subsequent sale or exit is relevant but is not required.

4. CHANGE MANAGEMENT — several years of practical experience guiding organisational change, people and the adoption of new ways of working.

These are alternative entry routes: you need at least one, not all four. If you have none of these backgrounds, please do not apply for this partnership opportunity. Technical AI, IT or engineering expertise alone is not sufficient; applicants from those fields are welcome if they also demonstrate one of the four backgrounds above.

You bring the relevant practical experience; we train you in the BECOME® way of thinking and working. Prior knowledge of the BECOME® methodology is not required.

In addition, you:

Have the drive and ability to become an entrepreneur.

Want to build something of your own, but not on your own.

Can earn the trust of CEOs, leadership teams, and other senior decision-makers.

Combine intellectual curiosity with commercial initiative.

Recognize the limitations of fragmented, industrial-age consulting.

Are attracted to a more integrated and systemic way of helping organizations transform.

Want to contribute to building an entirely new kind of consulting company.

Are fluent in English; Dutch is valuable for working in the Dutch market.

You do not need to be an established independent consultant. We are particularly interested in experienced, ambitious professionals ready to take an entrepreneurial step as part of BECOME Alliance.

SHOW US YOUR EXPERIENCE

In your application/CV, identify which of the four backgrounds applies to you and provide one or two concrete examples. Explain the business or brand challenge, your own responsibility, what you did and the outcome. For entrepreneurial experience, describe the business you founded, how you grew it and the scale it reached, using indicators such as team size, customers or revenue range. You may anonymise confidential information. We may ask you to elaborate during the selection process.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WORK

BECOME Alliance Partners have access to our office and shared working environment in Utrecht. You can also work from home, at client locations, or from wherever you work most effectively. Partnership is based on autonomy, responsibility, collaboration, and shared ambition—not on where you sit.

IMPORTANT: THIS IS A PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY.

This is not a salaried position and does not involve an employment contract. Partners develop their income through client acquisition and delivery within BECOME Alliance.

The partnership includes onboarding and training, the BECOME® methodology and tools, shared brand positioning, intellectual property, collaboration with other partners, and ongoing support from BECOME® Institute. The precise mutual commitments and commercial model will be discussed openly during the selection process.
