Job Overview
The Lead will develop and implement an environmental liability underwriting, marketing and production strategy for the United States. The Lead will also underwrite profitable accounts. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent US broker network and strong desire to achieve profitable underwriting results.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience across site pollution, CPL, XS Pollution and combined casualty/pollution products across US and multinational.
  • Develop and implement the U.S. environmental liability underwriting strategy, including framework development, workflow improvements, pricing models, forms, staffing, and financial forecasting.
  • Lead, recruit, and develop the ESG Risk Solutions underwriting team for the US.
  • Underwrite and manage a profitable book of environmental liability business across site pollution, CPL, XS pollution, and combined casualty/pollution products; as well as other ESG/sustainability related products in the future
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Participate in special projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Manage key wholesale and retail broker relationships and drive cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership and collaborate with home office on referrals and renewals.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary range for this position is $220,000–$255,000 plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus. Actual compensation will be based on experience, education, and geographic location.

Pay Range: $220,000 - $255,000 per year
