Job Description:

Role Overview

The IT Manager, EP-CNV Commercial Solutions Technical Product Owner is the accountable technology leader for the end-to-end product lifecycle of a portfolio of EMEA commercial solutions supporting Electrophysiology and Cardio-Neurovascular commercial processes. The role owns product strategy, roadmap, delivery, operations, modernization and value realization, partnering closely with Pricing, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Sales, Customer Service and regional technology teams.

This technical manager role combines empowered product ownership, strong technical leadership and people leadership. It translates business and compliance needs into an executable roadmap and prioritized backlog, directs a cross-functional product squad, and ensures the commercial products for order to cash remains secure, resilient, scalable, supportable and aligned with the wider MedTech pricing, contracting, ERP, CRM, data and reporting landscape.

The role is central to scaling the commercial solutions across EMEA while reducing country-specific complexity, improving pricing governance and user experience, strengthening delivery discipline, and preparing the platform for future enterprise architecture and ERP changes.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy, Value & Roadmap

• Own the pricing and other commercial solutions product vision, strategy, value proposition, multi-year roadmap and measurable outcomes in alignment with EP-CNV EMEA commercial and pricing priorities.

• Act as the empowered technology decision-maker for product priorities, balancing business value, user needs, compliance, risk, technical feasibility, capacity and total cost of ownership.

• Define and track OKRs and KPIs covering adoption, approval cycle time, pricing governance, reliability, performance, data quality, user experience, delivery predictability and realized business value.

• Lead build, buy, partner and platform-alignment assessments, including the long-term positioning of solution within the broader MedTech pricing and contracting ecosystem.

• Maintain transparent investment, resource and lifecycle plans, with clear recommendations for modernization, consolidation, integration or retirement decisions.

PRICING SOLUTION Product Ownership & Commercial Process Enablement

• Own the end-to-end pricing solution capabilities supporting pricing request creation, review, approval, execution, auditability and downstream price implementation.

• Partner with business product owners and market stakeholders to standardize pricing archetypes, approval models, roles, controls and affiliate onboarding, limiting localization to justified business, legal or regulatory needs.

• Translate business processes and policy requirements into product requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements, test scenarios and a prioritized backlog.

• Ensure the product supports appropriate pricing governance, including approval authority, audit trails, data visibility, role-based access, pricing controls, and evidence required for audit and compliance.

• Lead discovery and design for customer and buying-group hierarchies, product restrictions, pricing templates, country permissions, tender and contract workflows, and related commercial scenarios.

• Own the pricing solution rollout playbook, affiliate readiness criteria, release sequencing, adoption approach and reusable implementation assets for EMEA expansion and potentially globally.

Technical Leadership, Architecture & Modernization

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for the pricing solution application, data model, integrations, infrastructure, security, performance, observability and support model.

• Guide the evolution of the current .NET and SQL Server solution toward a more resilient, modular, maintainable and scalable architecture using approved enterprise patterns.

• Own architecture alignment across inbound master and transactional data, customer and product data, ERP interfaces, Contract Manager outputs, identity and access management, and Power BI or enterprise data-platform reporting.

• Drive technical debt reduction, secure coding, source-control governance, peer review, automated testing, CI/CD, secrets management, vulnerability remediation and compliant release practices.

• Establish performance baselines, capacity models, service levels, recovery objectives and proactive monitoring to support growth in users, countries, transaction volumes and integrations.

• Prepare the product for future ERP and commercial-platform changes, including transition dependencies, interface redesign and data migration decisions.

Agile Delivery, Quality & Operations

• Lead product discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, dependency management, demonstrations, release readiness and retrospectives using a disciplined agile product-management approach.

• Coordinate technical engineers, shared platforms and external delivery partners to deliver agreed outcomes within scope, budget, quality and timeline expectations.

• Ensure end-to-end traceability from business requirement through technical design, development, testing, approval and production release.

• Own the test strategy across unit, integration, system, regression, performance, security and user-acceptance testing, with clear evidence and business sign-off.

• Oversee production health, incident and problem management, root-cause analysis, change control, access reviews, support handoffs, knowledge management and continuous service improvement.

• Ensure adherence to applicable SDLC, cybersecurity, privacy, records management, quality, regulatory and financial-control requirements.

People Leadership & Product Squad Effectiveness

• Lead, coach and develop product and engineering team members, setting clear goals, decision rights, delivery expectations and development plans.

• Build a sustainable multi-person product and support model that reduces key-person dependency and protects critical product knowledge.

• Create an inclusive, high-accountability culture focused on customer value, technical excellence, transparency, continuous learning and pragmatic delivery.

• Plan product capacity and skills across employees, contractors and partners; manage performance, succession, onboarding and knowledge transfer for critical roles.

• Remove delivery roadblocks, resolve cross-squad priorities and escalate material trade-offs with concise options and recommendations.

Stakeholder Partnership & Change Adoption

• Act as the primary technology product contact for pricing solution, building trusted partnerships with EMEA Pricing, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, market leaders and regional/global technology teams.

• Communicate roadmap, delivery status, risks, dependencies, investment needs and value outcomes in clear executive and business language.

• Champion user-centered design, practical process simplification, demonstrations, training, communications and adoption planning so delivered capabilities are embedded in day-to-day operations.

• Facilitate governance and decision forums across business and technology, driving alignment in a complex matrix without relying solely on formal authority.

• Use qualitative feedback, usage data and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and continuously optimize the product.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager or product-focused technical leader, owning product vision, roadmaps, backlogs, releases, service performance and measurable outcomes.

• Project leadership, leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

• Strong technical application development experience with Microsoft-based application landscapes, including development in C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, APIs, integration patterns, GIT source control, automated testing and CI/CD.

• Experience modernizing legacy applications and managing technical debt, scalability, resilience, security, observability and supportability.

• Proven ability to translate complex commercial and pricing needs into clear product requirements and scalable technical solutions.

• Experience operating in agile and regulated environments with strong discipline in quality, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, documentation and release governance.

• Excellent stakeholder management, influence and communication skills across business, engineering, architecture, data, security and senior leadership audiences.
