At Revecore, our work helps hospitals recover the revenue they've earned so they can continue serving patients and communities. Trusted by more than 1,300 hospitals across 48 states, we combine specialized expertise with proprietary technology to solve problems others can't. Just as importantly, we've built a workplace where people support one another, embrace innovation, and are trusted to do their best work.
Position Summary
This role will extract, retrieve, and operationalize data from client hospitals' Epic systems to support Revecore's underpayments, denials, and complex claims workflows. They will work directly with hospital clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors to determine access capabilities, build repeatable processes, and implement solutions that allow Epic data to flow into Revecore's systems — working across Epic integrations, reports, applications, and other retrieval methods.
Key Responsibilities
Determine the best way to retrieve claims, payments, remittance/EOBs, billing information, documents, and other revenue cycle data from Epic.
Extend Revecore's existing FHIR-based Epic integration to additional client Epic environments and use cases beyond claims/appeals documentation
Leverage Epic capabilities such as APIs, FHIR, Clarity/reporting, applications, extracts, integrations, and automation to bring information into Revecore’s workflows.
Identify Epic capabilities and approaches we may not currently know about or use.
Reduce manual work inside client Epic environments by finding better ways to access the data and documents our teams need.
Translate our business use cases into practical solutions, including what clients need to enable or provide, and what Revecore needs to build or configure.
Create repeatable, scalable approaches that can be used across multiple health system clients.
Stay current on Epic capabilities relevant to third-party data access and advise on where specific methods are practical for our clients.
Partner with product, operations, and implementation teams to translate business needs into technical retrieval solutions.
Work Experience & Skills
Deep, hands-on Epic expertise focused on data access, integration, interoperability, and automation, not just Epic workflows or application support.
Deep knowledge of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and/or Professional Billing
Relevant Epic certifications and significant formal Epic training.
Recent, hands-on experience with Epic APIs, FHIR, Clarity/reporting, extracts, applications, integrations, and data/document retrieval, ideally tied to billing/claims/revenue cycle.
Ownership-level FHIR integration work preferred
Experience with Epic's Vendor Services/Showroom certification pathway
Strong understanding of Epic revenue cycle data and workflows, including claims, billing, payments, remittance/EOBs, denials, and underpayments.
Ability to design repeatable, scalable retrieval processes across different client configurations
Ability to translate business requirements into specific, executable Epic solutions and work effectively with hospital Epic teams and internal Product, Implementation, and Operations partners.
Current knowledge of Epic’s evolving capabilities and a hands-on, execution-oriented approach.

Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) Interconnect Certification
Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certification
