Epic Beaker AP / Data Innovations Consultant (Remote Contract) Position Overview We are seeking an Expert-Level Epic Beaker AP Consultant with extensive Data Innovations experience to support a high-priority laboratory integration initiative. This consultant will serve as the primary Data Innovations Subject Matter Expert (SME), partnering with Epic Beaker resources and laboratory stakeholders to design, build, configure, test, and implement complex integrations supporting digital pathology and molecular genetics workflows. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering Data Innovations integrations within laboratory environments, strong Epic Beaker AP expertise, and the ability to independently drive technical workstreams from requirements gathering through go-live. Required Qualifications Active Epic Beaker AP Certification (required) Extensive hands-on Data Innovations experience with laboratory system integrations 5+ years of Epic Beaker analyst and implementation experience Proven experience designing, building, and supporting integrations between Data Innovations and Epic Beaker Strong understanding of Anatomic Pathology (AP) workflows Experience supporting Molecular Genetics laboratory workflows Ability to independently assess requirements, develop technical solutions, and execute implementation plans Experience troubleshooting complex interface and integration issues Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills Key Responsibilities Serve as the lead Data Innovations SME for laboratory integration projects Collaborate with Epic Beaker analysts, laboratory leadership, and technical teams to define integration requirements Design, configure, and implement Data Innovations solutions supporting pathology and genetics workflows Build and validate interfaces between Data Innovations, Epic Beaker AP, and laboratory technologies Support integration of digital pathology and slide imaging platforms with Epic workflows Perform system analysis, workflow assessments, and technical documentation Execute system testing, integration testing, validation, and go-live readiness activities Investigate and resolve interface, connectivity, and workflow issues throughout the project lifecycle Ensure solutions align with laboratory operational requirements and industry best practices Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer as needed Preferred Qualifications Prior experience integrating Data Innovations with Epic Beaker AP Experience supporting digital pathology and slide scanning technologies Experience with MetaSystems or similar laboratory imaging and scanning platforms Experience in laboratory instrument integrations and middleware solutions Experience working with molecular diagnostics and genetics laboratories Previous success delivering complex laboratory projects under aggressive timelines Technical Skills Epic Beaker AP Data Innovations Epic Build & Configuration Laboratory Systems Integration Anatomic Pathology (AP) Molecular Genetics Interface Design & Troubleshooting Workflow Analysis System Testing & Validation Go-Live Support Systems Analysis Clinical Application Support Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a highly technical Epic Beaker AP-certified consultant who combines deep laboratory workflow knowledge with advanced Data Innovations expertise . They will have a proven history of delivering complex pathology and laboratory integrations, navigating challenging technical environments, and driving successful implementations with minimal oversight. Certification Required: Epic Beaker AP Location: 100% Remote Duration: Contract Opportunity with Immediate Need Primary Focus: Data Innovations integration, digital pathology workflows, laboratory systems implementation, and Epic Beaker AP optimization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $95.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
