Epic Cadence/Prelude Implementation Lead

We are seeking an experienced Epic Cadence/Prelude Implementation Lead to support a highly visible Back to Foundation initiative. This individual will provide leadership and coordination across the Epic implementation, helping align technical/build teams, project management, and organizational leadership.

This is not a hands-on Epic build role. The ideal candidate will bring strong Epic implementation leadership and project management experience, with the ability to serve as the key connection between Epic builders, project managers, and business/technical stakeholders.

Top Skills

• Experience leading an Epic Cadence and/or Prelude implementation
• Current or previous Epic Cadence/Prelude certification
• Experience with an Epic Refuel or Back to Foundation initiative
• Strong project management and implementation leadership skills
• Ability to coordinate across Epic builders, PMs, technical teams, and leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Epic Implementation Lead, Application Lead, or Project Manager
• Strong understanding of Epic Cadence/Prelude workflows and implementation methodology
• Experience bringing an existing Epic environment back in alignment with Epic-recommended standards
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead complex initiatives without being responsible for hands-on configuration/build

Project Overview

The organization is undertaking a major Epic Back to Foundation initiative focused on bringing its EHR environment closer to current Epic standards. The goal is to simplify future upgrades while improving ongoing system maintenance and optimization.

The Cadence/Prelude workstream will be a key component of the initiative, making this a highly visible opportunity for an experienced Epic leader.

• Primarily remote
• Up to 15% travel onsite
• Collaborative environment working across technical, project, and organizational leadership teams

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95.00 - $105.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
