Epic MyChart/Cadence Analyst
TeksystemsEpic MyChart / Cadence Analyst (Remote Contract) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Epic MyChart & Cadence Analyst to support a high-profile healthcare initiative focused on upgrading and optimizing MyChart functionality, including the implementation of MyChart Cheers . This analyst will work closely with project stakeholders to evaluate current workflows, implement enhancements, and bring the organization's MyChart environment to the latest supported version. The ideal candidate will possess strong Epic build experience, hold active certifications in both Epic MyChart and Epic Cadence , and have experience supporting complex healthcare environments. This is a 100% remote contract opportunity with an initial duration of 2-3 months , with potential for extension based on project needs. Required Qualifications Active Epic MyChart Certification Active Epic Cadence Certification 3+ years of Epic application analyst experience Strong Epic build, configuration, testing, and optimization experience Experience implementing enhancements and upgrades within Epic MyChart Experience supporting Cadence workflows and scheduling functionality Strong understanding of healthcare operations and end-user workflow design Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment Responsibilities Assess existing MyChart functionality and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement Support the organization's transition to the latest version of MyChart and implementation of MyChart Cheers Perform Epic MyChart and Cadence application build, configuration, and validation Collaborate with operational, clinical, and technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements Participate in project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder review sessions Troubleshoot system issues and recommend solutions aligned with Epic best practices Execute unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing activities Document build decisions, workflows, and application changes Support go-live preparation and post-implementation stabilization efforts as needed Preferred Qualifications Prior Community Connect experience strongly preferred Experience supporting public health, ambulatory, or community health organizations Exposure to MyChart Cheers implementation projects Experience supporting simultaneous Epic module deployments Knowledge of Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, or Professional Billing workflows Technical Skills Epic MyChart Epic MyChart Cheers Epic Cadence Epic Build & Configuration Workflow Analysis Testing & Validation Requirements Gathering Documentation & Change Management Project Details Contract Length: Initial 2-3 month engagement with potential extension Location: 100% Remote Start Date: ASAP Interview Process: Collaborative interview process involving project stakeholders and customer representatives Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be a hands-on Epic analyst with strong MyChart and Cadence expertise who can quickly assess an existing environment, perform complex application build activities, and help drive a successful MyChart modernization initiative. Experience with Community Connect environments and MyChart Cheers implementations will be highly valued. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
