Join our team as an EPWT GBE Procurement Buyer! Play a key role in supporting Garrett's Electrified Powertrain (EPWT) business by driving sourcing activities, improving supplier performance, delivering cost competitiveness, and ensuring successful execution of new product launches and mass production operations across a global supplier network. What You'll Do: Improve GBE competitiveness through cost reduction initiatives in collaboration with Commodity teams. Support and contribute to Commodity Panel strategies within the assigned GBE/Region. Execute productivity and savings objectives. Ensure supplier performance reviews and follow-up on action plan implementation. Lead and execute supplier selection processes for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Value Engineering (VE)/Resourcing projects in alignment with the panel strategy. Own project deliverables for sourced components, including cost, milestones, prototypes, ODT, PPAP, SOP, and compliance with design requirements. Support TEFS activities throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and propose resourcing opportunities to Commodity teams. Contribute to Value Engineering initiatives and cost optimization opportunities for GBE projects. Manage post-SOP engineering changes and secure first-year savings after supplier awards. Act as the primary sourcing interface for logistics, capacity, and quality escalations within the GBE. Collect, monitor, and validate supplier capacity data. Support OES and IAM activities when parts remain in OEM production. Validate and negotiate charge-back amounts with suppliers. Implement mitigation action plans and execute gap closure activities. Support trade compliance, sustainability, and supplier-related information collection. Act as Key Supplier Contact (KSC) when delegated by Commodity Management. What We Need: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration. Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement within the automotive industry. Strong project management skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Leadership and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. Fluent in English. Experience with electric eAxle systems is a plus. Knowledge of Electric Drive Units (EDUs) and e-Powertrain technologies is a plus. Background in electromechanical products and systems is a plus. Experience working within international and cross-functional teams is a plus.
