About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Equity Research professionals interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. The role involves applying financial analysis and public-markets expertise to help improve how next-generation AI systems analyze companies, financial statements, and public filings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze publicly available company financial information and regulatory filings.
• Review and extract relevant financial and business information from SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and other public disclosures.
• Evaluate financial analyses and AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, and analytical quality.
• Apply equity research methodologies to assess company performance, financial trends, and business fundamentals.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve the quality and accuracy of AI-generated financial analysis.
• Conduct detailed company and industry research using publicly available information.
• Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment when evaluating financial research and analysis.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional Equity Research experience at a leading financial institution, investment firm, research firm, or equivalent organization.
• Strong hands-on experience analyzing and extracting information from public SEC filings.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, company fundamentals, and valuation.
• Experience conducting company and industry analysis.
• Excellent analytical, financial research, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing financial models, earnings analyses, investment research, or company valuation.
• Experience analyzing 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, earnings releases, investor presentations, and other public company disclosures.
• Experience producing or reviewing institutional-quality equity research.
• Prior experience with AI training, model evaluation, or financial data projects is a plus.

Compensation

• Competitive compensation of $120/hour.
