Erlang Engineer at BairesDev

As an Erlang Engineer, you will build highly concurrent and fault-tolerant systems designed for massive scale. You will leverage the BEAM VM and OTP framework to create resilient, real-time infrastructure that maintains high availability even under extreme load.

What You'll Do:

- Design and develop distributed, soft real-time applications using Erlang and the OTP framework.

- Implement highly concurrent systems utilizing lightweight processes and asynchronous message passing.

- Build and maintain supervisor trees to ensure system self-healing and robust fault tolerance.

- Optimize system performance and scalability across distributed BEAM nodes and clusters.

- Manage the full development lifecycle of mission-critical messaging or telecom-heritage infrastructure.

- Apply hot code reloading techniques to update production systems with zero downtime.

What we are looking for:

- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on functional programming.

- Proven expertise in building highly concurrent and fault-tolerant systems using Erlang.

- Deep understanding of the OTP framework and the BEAM virtual machine.

- Strong background in developing messaging or real-time communication infrastructure.

- Experience with telecom-grade systems and distributed architectures.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
