ERP Consultant
As an ERP Consultant, you will lead end-to-end business analysis, translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions, and support the design and integration of SAP and Source-to-Pay platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business and IT alignment, optimize processes, and support successful solution delivery.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, user stories, and technical workflows.
- Act as a functional and technical expert for Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms, including Smart by GEP, ORO, SAP S/4HANA, and other solutions, overseeing system configurations and enhancement requests.
- Prepare and review functional and technical specifications, including WRICEFs, and support testing, cut-over, and deployment activities.
- Manage integrations between S2P platforms and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA), ensuring seamless data flow for master data and financial records.
- Lead the design of complex interfaces using SAP Integration Suite (BTP/CPI), Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), or middleware solutions such as MuleSoft.
- Define and document field-level data mapping and transformation (IDOC, API, cXML, OData) for procurement objects, including Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, Invoices, and Supplier Master Data.
- Establish monitoring and error-handling frameworks using SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) or similar solutions to proactively identify and resolve interface failures.
- Collaborate with Global Procurement, RSS, and cross-functional teams within major programs such as ASPIRE, ensuring business and IT alignment across Architecture, Master Data, Procurement, and Finance.
- Define test strategies and lead System Acceptance Testing (SAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Manage changes using SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, and ServiceNow, ensuring controlled deployments in high-availability production environments.
- Define KPIs, optimize interface performance and user satisfaction, and support business case development and resource planning.
- Ensure solutions comply with internal policies, security standards, and applicable regulations, including GxP, GDPR, and ICFR.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of team methodologies, processes, and best practices.
We are looking for you, if you have:
- Strong experience in a senior techno-functional consulting or business analysis role within SAP and Source-to-Pay (S2P) environments.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement and Demand-to-Pay / Source-to-Pay business processes and their integration with ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and S2P platforms such as Smart by GEP, ORO, or similar solutions.
- Experience in requirements engineering, solution design, system configuration, and preparing functional and technical specifications, including WRICEFs.
- Strong understanding of system integrations using SAP Integration Suite (BTP/CPI), Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), or middleware solutions such as MuleSoft.
- Experience with data mapping and integration technologies, including IDOC, APIs, cXML, and OData.
- Knowledge of interface monitoring, error handling, and troubleshooting using SAP AIF or similar tools.
- Experience in planning and executing SAT, SIT, and UAT testing, as well as cut-over and deployment activities.
- Familiarity with change management tools such as SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
- Understanding of data flows related to Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, Invoices, and Supplier Master Data.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and standards, including GxP, GDPR, and ICFR.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Experience collaborating with technical and business teams, managing dependencies, and mentoring junior team members.
We offer:
- Participation in interesting and demanding projects.
- Flexible working hours.
- A great, non-corporate atmosphere.
- Possibility to work remote or hybrid (2 days per week from the office).
