About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly connected, commercially driven ERP Sales Specialist to develop new business across the Greater Montreal Area and Quebec manufacturing market.

This is a true business development and full-cycle sales opportunity for an experienced ERP sales professional who understands manufacturing operations and, critically, already has strong relationships and contacts within the manufacturing sector.

The ideal candidate brings a proven network of manufacturing executives, operational leaders, technology decision-makers, ERP stakeholders, consulting firms, and industry partners who can help accelerate pipeline development and new client acquisition.

Experience selling Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI / SyteLine) is strongly preferred. Candidates with broader manufacturing ERP experience will also be considered where they demonstrate deep manufacturing-sector relationships, strong new-logo sales performance, and the ability to manage complex enterprise solution sales.

This role is particularly well suited to an entrepreneurial sales professional who knows the Quebec manufacturing ecosystem, can open doors, build executive-level relationships, and convert those relationships into significant ERP and digital transformation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

Identify, qualify, and close new ERP opportunities across manufacturing and industrial organizations.

Build and execute a territory strategy focused on new-logo acquisition throughout the Greater Montreal Area and Quebec.

Leverage existing manufacturing-sector relationships and industry contacts to accelerate introductions, meetings, and qualified opportunities.

Develop relationships with manufacturers undergoing ERP modernization, operational transformation, plant expansion, system replacement, or broader digital transformation initiatives.

Build and maintain a strong, measurable pipeline capable of consistently supporting revenue targets.

Execute disciplined outbound prospecting, referral development, networking, account targeting, and partner-led business development strategies.

Manufacturing Market Development

Develop relationships with manufacturing executives and decision-makers across operations, finance, IT, supply chain, production, and senior leadership.

Build credibility with organizations operating in discrete, industrial, complex, and production-oriented manufacturing environments.

Identify business challenges related to production planning, scheduling, inventory, procurement, supply chain, shop-floor visibility, costing, finance, and operational performance.

Translate manufacturing business issues into compelling ERP transformation opportunities.

Maintain strong awareness of the Quebec manufacturing ecosystem, market trends, competitive platforms, and investment priorities.

Consultative Selling and Solution Positioning

Act as a strategic advisor to manufacturing clients evaluating ERP modernization and operational improvement initiatives.

Understand complex business requirements and align ERP capabilities with measurable operational and financial outcomes.

Position manufacturing ERP solutions across areas such as:

Production planning and scheduling

Inventory management

Procurement

Supply chain operations

Manufacturing execution

Financial management

Costing

Operational visibility

Business performance improvement

Effectively communicate ERP value to executive, operational, financial, and technical stakeholders.

Work with internal specialists to develop credible, differentiated, and commercially compelling solutions.

Full-Cycle Sales Management

Own the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting and qualification through negotiation and contract close.

Lead discovery meetings, executive conversations, workshops, solution demonstrations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.

Navigate complex multi-stakeholder buying processes involving operations, finance, IT, procurement, ownership, and executive leadership.

Develop account strategies and stakeholder maps for strategic opportunities.

Prepare proposals, presentations, commercial documentation, and RFP responses.

Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity plans, pipeline stages, next steps, and forecasts.

Drive urgency and momentum throughout longer, consultative ERP sales cycles.

Manufacturing and ERP Ecosystem Development

Build strategic relationships with ERP consulting firms, technology partners, industry advisors, associations, and market influencers.

Develop referral and co-selling relationships that generate qualified new business.

Expand visibility and credibility within the Montreal and Quebec manufacturing community.

Identify partnership opportunities capable of accelerating market penetration and pipeline growth.

Represent the organization through relevant manufacturing, ERP, technology, and business networks.

Internal Collaboration and Delivery Handoff

Collaborate closely with pre-sales, solution architecture, ERP consulting, implementation, and delivery teams.

Coordinate discovery, demonstrations, solution design, scoping, and proposal development.

Ensure commercial commitments remain aligned with project scope and delivery capabilities.

Lead effective transition and handoff processes following contract execution.

Maintain appropriate executive involvement through the early stages of client delivery.

Account Growth and Strategic Relationships

Develop trusted, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.

Identify expansion opportunities across existing accounts.

Generate opportunities involving additional ERP capabilities, professional services, optimization, transformation, and related solutions.

Maintain credibility as a strategic business advisor rather than solely a software salesperson.

Required Qualifications

Significant experience selling ERP, enterprise software, digital transformation, or complex technology solutions in a B2B environment.

Proven experience developing and closing new business within the manufacturing sector.

Strong existing contacts and relationships within the Quebec manufacturing community are essential.

Demonstrated ability to leverage an established professional network to generate qualified opportunities and executive-level introductions.

Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes, including:

Inventory

Procurement

Supply chain

Shop-floor operations

Costing

Finance

Proven success managing complex, consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Demonstrated new-logo acquisition and business development capability.

Ability to engage credibly with Directors, Vice Presidents, C-suite executives, business owners, operational leaders, and technology stakeholders.

Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and executive communication skills.

Disciplined CRM, pipeline management, qualification, and forecasting practices.

Strong understanding of the Greater Montreal Area and Quebec business market.

Professional fluency in both French and English is strongly preferred due to the nature of the Quebec market and stakeholder environment.

Preferred Experience

Direct experience selling Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI / SyteLine).

Existing relationships with organizations currently using, evaluating, replacing, or modernizing Infor ERP environments.

Experience selling other manufacturing-focused ERP platforms where accompanied by strong manufacturing relationships.

Strong executive presence and business credibility.

Consultative and capable of understanding complex operational challenges.

Comfortable navigating long and sophisticated enterprise sales cycles.

Highly accountable for pipeline, activity, forecasting, and revenue performance.

Collaborative with strong internal team engagement.

Autonomous, disciplined, organized, and results-oriented.
