About the Role
CG FinTech is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Europe Regional Director to lead regional business development, expand market presence, and drive sustainable revenue growth across European markets.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FX/CFD and commodities trading, established industry networks, proven sales leadership capabilities, and a solid understanding of European financial regulations and compliant business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to expand CG FinTech's presence across European markets.
- Identify new business opportunities, revenue channels, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with IBs, affiliates, institutional clients, and financial partners.
2. Sales & Team Leadership
- Lead regional sales and business development teams to achieve revenue and business targets.
- Recruit, train, and manage high-performing teams, setting clear KPIs and performance objectives.
- Monitor sales performance, client acquisition, and regional business growth.
3. Market & Partner Development
- Expand the regional partner network and develop long-term business relationships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for business expansion.
- Represent CG FinTech at relevant industry events and business meetings.
4. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Maintain a strong understanding of applicable European financial laws, regulations, and brokerage requirements.
- Ensure business development and client acquisition activities comply with European KYC, AML, and customer due diligence requirements.
- Understand compliant client onboarding, financial promotions, and partner business operations.
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in FX/CFD, brokerage, financial services, or online trading.
- Proven experience in regional management, sales leadership, and business development within European markets.
- Strong network of IBs, affiliates, and financial industry partners across Europe.
- Strong knowledge of CFDs, commodities, and multi-asset trading products.
- Good knowledge of European KYC/AML requirements, financial regulations, and compliant business operations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel across Europe as required.
