Additonal Information: This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. Candidates must be available to support evening and weekend events as needed. The work schedule is flexible and will be determined at the time of hire. This position requires heavy lifting/moving up to 50lbs. Key Job Responsibilities: Assists with planning and the creation of promotional materials and resources for events Greets customers/guests, assists with registration, answers questions, and refers complex issues to appropriate entities Monitors and processes event related transactions and event data and records Schedules logistics and secures resources for all aspects of events including space, vendors, and staff; and coordinates details and resolves operational issues Communicates with customers to determine event details and requirements, evaluates requests, recommends service plans and pricing, and provides status updates Department: School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Radiology Join UW Radiology and UW Health—A Legacy of Innovation The University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology, in partnership with UW Health , has been at the forefront of clinical care, imaging research, and education for nearly a century. Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of professional experience in event planning Experience providing customer service, administrative support, or similar Preferred Qualifications: Experience scheduling and organizing complex event logistics with attention to detail. Experience with digital communications, event registration, and survey creation.
