Event-Driven Architect Specialist

Are you specialised within Event-Driven Architecture? A client that we are exclusively partnered with are searching for EDA specialists who are interested in creating new gaming applications for freelance projects that are open-ended.

What is your role?

Building new applications from the ground-up whilst integrating claude-code to accelerate implementation & refactoring. Applying strong backend craftsmanship while keeping product impact, reliability, and compliance front of mind - including through the traffic peaks that come with live events. Continuously improving systems, practices, tooling, and ways of working. Your autonomy, scope, and influence are driven by your career ladder level, not by the job title alone.

Your Responsibilities?

• Building new applications from the ground-up whilst integrating claude-code to accelerate implementation & refactoring
• Applying strong backend craftsmanship while keeping product impact, reliability, and compliance front of mind - including through the traffic peaks that come with live events
• Continuously improving systems, practices, tooling, and ways of working

Your Skills?

• Strong backend fundamentals: API design, data modeling, testing, performance, resilience and operability
• Experience building backend services with a statically-typed language and framework (e.g. C#/.NET, Java, Kotlin, Go), including event-driven architectures
• Ability to own solutions end-to-end, from design to production and continuous improvement
• Product-minded, collaborative, and comfortable working in small, autonomous, cross functional teams

• 2 Days onsite + 3 Days remote from Liege or Ghent office
• Open-ended Freelance Contract or Employee Contract
