Job Description

This is a remote position.

M&M Productions USA is seeking a contract Event Producer and Script Writer. Many of our clients represent the Career and Technology Student Organizations so we are seeking someone that is preferably familiar with the DECA, HOSA, FCCLA, SkillsUSA, TSA or FBLA groups. This position works closely with State Officers, so it is imperative that you are comfortable with working with high-school and college-age young adults. We want someone that is passionate about creating events that will ignite excitement, instill confidence, and leave the attendees with an experience that they will remember forever. You will work on a per event basis with our robust team to make each event successful for our customers. This position requires travel during the week and weekends. This position will report directly to the Director of Client Relations.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage communication with clients during the scripting process
  • Liaison between the client and the production crew during live events
  • Develop all scripts for General Sessions, Break-out Sessions and/or Team Skits
  • Lead staging of state officers, speakers, guests, and competitive event award winners
  • Conduct leadership training sessions for officers and members
  • Build and manage timelines for scripting and stage production
  • Attends weekly meetings, manages, and drives action items
  • Manages all event-related deliverable submission deadlines and approvals for scripting
  • Responsible for all on-site rehearsals, prior to live event
  • Assists with any officer, client or keynote speakers needs during live event
  • Other duties as assigned


Skill set

Qualifications:
•	Outgoing personality with client-facing experience. 
•	Script writing experience preferred.
•	Strong verbal presentation skills. 
•	Stage production experience preferred but not required.
•	Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
•	Strong interpersonal, communication, time management and 
        organizational skills.
•	Ability to work with colleagues and customers across multiple 
        time zones and cultures.
•	Flexible schedule.
•	Available to travel in-state and out-of-state 50% - 70% of the 
        time during event high season (January – July).
•	Computer efficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word 
        and PowerPoint.
