Job Description: We are looking for an Event Project Manager who will be responsible for making sure that Event Organizers have a smooth experience using Gevme throughout the entire journey of their virtual events. A successful candidate is one who is able to respond well under pressure and has both skills and experience in Project Management in an event setting. Responsibilities: The Gevme Event Project Manager must perform various functions: Meet clients to gather project specifications Define the scope of the project, roles, and responsibilities along with various stakeholders Occasionally participate in pre-sales advisory and scoping to the Sales Team on proposals and pitches for business Maintain project time frames, estimates, and status reports Responsible for the management of complex problems and the development of processes for scheduling and administration Prioritize requirements and define the scope to meet market needs in a timely manner given available resources Educating clients with the onboarding process and training when required Partner with customer operations to identify areas in need of improvement to increase customer satisfaction and decrease support requests Anticipate problems and complications, and formulate solutions so as not to impede the progress of the project Assume responsibility and drive ownership for issue resolution Accountable for on-time service delivery, service quality, cost, and operations Provide feedback to our Product team if there are clients’ requests for new product features Work closely with the Sales team on projects handover and documentations Requirements Strong project management skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously Excellent problem-solving skills Experience in the digital side of event planning (event registration, event website etc.) Proficient in project management software Ability to focus and pay attention to details at all times Ability to work in a team as well as an individual with little or no supervision Diploma or Degree in any IT-related discipline is a bonus 2+ years of relevant working experience in a project management setting for events or IT projects Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing Experience in GEVME a plus
