Their event portfolio includes various formats such as webinars, CPE-accredited series, executive roundtables, chapter events, conference dinners, and virtual conferences. Events serve as a primary lead generation channel for the firm.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an Events and Community Engagement Manager to oversee their entire event program. This role involves managing both sponsor relationships and community programming, with a mandate to significantly grow the audience. The firm's events are a key channel for lead generation.
Responsibilities of the role:
• Own end to end event delivery: scheduling, speaker coordination, platform build, registration, promotion coordination, day-of execution, and follow-up
• Manage sponsor relationships operationally, including the prospectus, tier construction, deliverable tracking, and post-event reporting, and align sponsor messaging with firm positioning
• Build and optimize registration flows for lead quality, not just volume
• Administer NASBA CPE compliance, including attendance verification, evaluations, certificates, and records retention
• Own the event calendar and prevent collisions with conference travel and speaking engagements
• Drive registration against per-program targets with marketing, and act on attendee and sponsor feedback to propose new formats
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Five or more years managing complex business to business events across virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats
• Demonstrated sponsor management, including delivering against paid commitments and reporting results directly to sponsors
• Webinar platform depth, Zoom Events or equivalent, including attendance data, certification tracking, and registration design
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard on messaging and brand nuance
• Availability during live events
Preferred Skills:
• Professional association, accreditation body, or CPE provider experience
• Familiarity with finance, audit, risk, or cybersecurity audiences
• Multi-track conference production experience, and experience leading a small team
