What you will be doing

As our Events Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of Pepper Money’s events programme, working closely with the Senior Events & Sponsorship Manager and wider Marketing team to ensure activity is planned, coordinated and delivered to a high standard. This is a hands-on senior coordination role, suited to someone who can take ownership of day-to-day event planning, manage multiple priorities independently and keep activity moving without needing close supervision.

Working with the Sales team, Key Account Managers, Marketing and external partners, you’ll provide proactive support to managers and stakeholders, helping to translate event plans into well-organised delivery. You’ll be trusted to manage details, anticipate next steps and communicate clearly to ensure every event runs smoothly and delivers a consistently high-quality experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the distribution events calendar, including roundtables, expos, industry forums and conferences, ensuring activity is well planned and deadlines are managed effectively.
  • Taking ownership of key event administration, including guest communications, event documentation, calendar coordination and follow-up actions.
  • Providing proactive support to managers and stakeholders, ensuring actions are progressed, risks are flagged early and delivery remains on track.
  • Liaising with third-party suppliers to ensure timely delivery of branding, merchandise, and event collateral.
  • Supporting the execution of our sponsorship strategy, including activation planning, stakeholder coordination, and post-event reporting.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to amplify event attendance and engagement through social media, email campaigns, and digital channels.
  • Supporting the wider events programme, including larger-scale events, sponsorship activations and internal initiatives, flexing priorities where required.
  • Collaborating with Marketing to help drive attendance and engagement through email and social channels
  • Preparing post-event summaries, feedback and reporting to support continuous improvement
  • Maintaining accurate records of budgets, timelines, suppliers and compliance documentation
  • Assisting with internal engagement initiatives such as colleague town halls, celebrations, and recognition events.
  • Ensuring all events reflect Pepper Money’s brand values and deliver a consistent, high-quality experience.
  • Contributing to the development of new event formats and ideas to enhance broker engagement and brand visibility.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador at events, representing Pepper Money with professionalism and enthusiasm.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with experience supporting busy event activity and multiple stakeholders. You’ll be confident managing your own workload, prioritising effectively and following tasks through to completion, while knowing when to escalate or seek input. This role would suit someone who brings structure, pace and reliability to event delivery, with the confidence to work independently and support managers in a trusted, capable way.

  • Strong experience in event coordination, with the ability to manage multiple events, workstreams and deadlines at the same time.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Experience in Financial Services (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and work with limited hand-holding.
  • Strong attention to detail, good judgement and a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.
  • Confidence working independently, taking initiative and keeping managers and stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to travel and stay overnight
