Executive Assistant – Investment Banking | 12-Month Maternity Cover

Central London | £60,000–£63,000 | 3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH

We’re recruiting an experienced Executive Assistant to join a leading investment banking firm, supporting a busy front-office deal team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Supporting two Managing Directors and three Vice Presidents, you’ll be at the heart of the team, managing complex diaries, international travel, client meetings and the day-to-day coordination that keeps everything moving.

It’s a great fit for an EA who enjoys the pace of investment banking, likes being close to the business and takes a genuine interest in what their team is working on. You’ll be trusted to manage priorities, anticipate what’s needed and use your judgement when plans change.

The Role

  • Managing complex and frequently changing diaries across multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinating detailed international travel and itineraries across multiple time zones.
  • Scheduling high volumes of internal and external meetings, including busy roadshow schedules.
  • Managing inboxes, identifying priorities and ensuring key actions are followed up.
  • Coordinating client meetings and ensuring materials and logistics are in place.
  • Updating Salesforce with meeting notes, contacts and relevant deal information.
  • Liaising with clients, bankers and teams across the wider business.
  • Providing day-to-day support across live deals, projects and wider team activity.
  • Anticipating issues, resolving clashes and keeping things moving when priorities change.

About You

  • Experienced EA with a background in investment banking or a similarly fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Confident supporting multiple senior stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong complex diary management and international travel experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce – essential for this role.
  • Organised and detail-focused, with good judgement and the confidence to take ownership.
  • Interested in understanding the work of the team, not just managing the logistics around it.
  • Clear and concise in your communication and comfortable working with senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Proactive, dependable and collaborative, with a genuine team mentality.

You’ll be joining a friendly, collaborative team where the EA is trusted to take ownership and play an important part in how the team operates. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy investment banking environment and wants a varied, involved role with a strong team around them.
