What Is the Opportunity?

The Risk Control organization consists of motivated professionals with diverse risk engineering expertise across multiple commercial insurance disciplines. By delivering high quality risk assessments and consultative services, we help clients better understand and mitigate their risks while empowering underwriters with the insights needed to make informed account selection and pricing decisions that drive profitable growth. As a Risk Control Executive Consultant, CAG, you will serve as a subject matter expert in risk assessment and loss control, independently consulting with clients on high complexity risks across multiple industries and lines of coverage while contributing to the development of less experienced consultants.

What Will You Do?

  • Independently prepare, conduct, and complete technically detailed risk assessments of high complexity to evaluate potential hazards and risk factors. Complexity is defined by industry, account size, number of locations, and exposure type.
  • Apply expert consultative skills with clients to implement recommended risk control measures to reduce, mitigate, or prevent losses.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure coordinated, high-quality, consultative service focused on risk reduction across all accounts.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced consultants to support their technical development and professional growth. Additionally, serve as a technical resource for peers, clients, and business partners on complex or high-stakes accounts.
  • Review and sign off on risk assessments and recommendations on accounts that require a higher level of expertise or certification.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects that drive continuous improvement across the Risk Control organization.
  • Stay current on emerging industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices by actively pursuing relevant training, certifications, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
