Role overview: To manage and deliver the Business Banking lending product portfolio by translating strategic priorities into product plans, governing product lifecycle execution and optimising portfolio performance in order to achieve sustainable asset growth, risk-aligned returns and effective sales enablement In this role, your key responsibilities include: Translate the Business Banking product direction into clear lending product plans, priorities and roadmaps that support loan book growth, portfolio profitability and customer outcomes Own the planning and prioritisation of the lending product portfolio to ensure product design, positioning and development remain aligned to business objectives, market needs and the direction set by the line manager Own the performance of the Business Banking lending product portfolio including growth, revenue, margins and risk-adjusted returns within agreed financial parameters Review product and portfolio performance on an ongoing basis and implement pricing, structural and portfolio actions to improve commercial outcomes, protect profitability and support delivery against budget expectations Manage the full lifecycle of Business Banking lending products from development and approval through to launch, monitoring, enhancement and rationalisation Ensure that lending product initiatives are delivered within approved governance frameworks and that all product decisions, approvals and changes remain aligned with internal policy and regulatory requirements Develop and maintain lending product structures, eligibility parameters and related controls in line with approved risk appetite, credit policy and governance standards Support Business Banking sales and relationship teams through product expertise, pricing guidance, training and structured product support to improve lending penetration and execution quality Drive improvements to lending journeys, operating processes and product delivery models through digitisation, simplification and coordination with Technology and Operations Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align priorities, resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of lending product initiatives, portfolio actions and governance requirements Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation The ideal candidate should have the following experience At least 8 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services with exposure to Business Banking lending products, product management, lending portfolio management or credit Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or related discipline Business Banking Lending Products Knowledge Lending Portfolio Management Product Lifecycle Management Pricing and Revenue Management Credit Policy and Risk Awareness Lending Product Governance Financial Analysis and Portfolio Performance Monitoring Sales Enablement and Distribution Support Digital Lending and Process Optimisation Stakeholder Management and Influencing Skills Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge Data Analysis and Management Information People Leadership and Performance Management What we offer: Competitive Salary: In addition, all employees are eligible to participate in one of our rewarding variable pay plans.
