Executive Search Consultant
WorldhireExecutive Search Partner
We are looking for someone who wants to develop the judgement, research depth and commercial credibility to become known for finding leaders who actually move businesses forward.
At WorldHire, Executive Search begins long before sourcing. You will learn to understand why a business is hiring, what outcomes it expects from the hire, which capabilities will create those outcomes, and what evidence proves a candidate can deliver them.
You will work on leadership mandates across international markets, engage senior professionals, assess them beyond their CV, and develop the ability to hold sophisticated conversations with candidates and clients alike.
What you will own
1. Decode the business problem
Turn a job description into the business outcomes, critical capabilities and search parameters behind the mandate.
2. Build the search thesis
Research markets, companies, talent pools and candidate profiles before you begin searching. Quality of direction matters more than quantity of activity.
3. Identify and evaluate exceptional talent
Find a small number of highly relevant professionals and establish—through evidence, questioning and judgement—whether they can genuinely create value for the client.
4. Represent the opportunity intelligently
Engage senior candidates with a compelling understanding of the role, business context and career opportunity—not generic recruiter pitches.
5. Own the candidate conversation
Assess motivation, expectations and commercial alignment. Be capable of challenging unreasonable demands without compromising the candidate experience or the client's interests.
6. Build an evidence-led search practice
Every candidate presentation should answer a simple question:
Why should this person be considered for this business, this mandate and this level of responsibility?
What success looks like
Not hundreds of CVs.
Not recruiter activity for the sake of activity.
Success is a small, highly relevant candidate universe, strong candidate conviction, intelligent submissions and hires that create measurable business value.
Who should apply
You may be an experienced recruiter, executive-search professional, talent advisor—or someone returning to the profession with substantial prior experience.
What matters more than your current title is how you think.
You should naturally:
- Research before acting.
- Ask why before accepting what.
- Think in outcomes rather than job descriptions.
- Distinguish a good CV from a genuinely valuable executive.
- Be comfortable challenging candidates and stakeholders intelligently.
- Care about the quality of your judgement as much as the speed of your search.
- Take personal ownership of measurable outcomes.
This is an opportunity to build something beyond a job title
If you are serious about building a personal reputation in Executive Search, this role gives you the environment to develop the craft behind it—business research, market intelligence, executive assessment, candidate psychology, commercial conversations and search strategy.
Over time, your work should become recognisable not simply because of the company you represent, but because of the quality of judgement you bring to every search.
