Experienced Associate | Transfer Pricing - National Tax Office

We are seeking candidates with transfer pricing experience who are interested in providing tax and transfer pricing services to US-headquartered and foreign-headquartered multinational groups. The opportunity will include working with CBIZ team members and client personnel virtually or at the client location. As a part of our National Tax Office (NTO), this practice is the Center of Excellence for all International Tax and Transfer Pricing projects covering all aspects of the transfer pricing lifecycle including planning, implementation, compliance and controversy support.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Assist in researching, developing analyses, executing and delivering transfer pricing projects under supervision from senior members of the Transfer Pricing team

• Participate in client interviews to gather information that forms the basis of analyses in transfer pricing deliverables provided to clients

• Analyze financial and economic data for t using statistical sampling packages and include in transfer pricing analyses and deliverables as appropriate

• Review and analyze U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financial statements

• Research comparable publicly traded companies

• Assist Transfer Pricing Leadership team with various practice development initiatives on an as-required basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Taxation or related field

• At a minimum of one year of experience in a transfer pricing role with a professional services firm or in an in-house role

• Working experience with commonly used sources of information such as TP Catalyst, Capital IQ, Royalty Range, Bloomberg IBIS World among others to perform research and develop arm’s length analyses among others

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Must have completed at least one "busy season"
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
