You'll be responsible for
- Maintaining a timely delivery of property claims outcomes which meet or exceed the customer expectations throughout the life of a claim.
- Liaising with claimants, repairers and other internal/external stakeholders to drive timely decision making and life of claim outcomes.
- Assessing indemnity, liability of claims, costs and the validity of building and remediation scope of works
- Assessing remediation and make safe claims and costs.
- Reviewing building and remediation cause of damage reports including geotechnical and structural engineering reports.
- Identifying defects and non-compliance repairs utilising Australian Standards and National Construction Code.
About You
- Building Trade Qualifications and/or Loss Assessor qualification through ANZIIF
- Extensive property assessing and customer service experience
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of theories and practices of Insurance and loss
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
