About Bolt
Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.
From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.
And we're just getting started.

About the role
The Operations Manager owns the day-to-day performance of Bolt’s ride-hailing marketplace in Croatia across Riders, Planning & Analysis, and Marketplace. Reporting to the General Manager, the role optimises pricing, maintains marketplace balance, and shapes rider and driver behaviour to improve efficiency, reduce cancellations, and drive Finished Rides growth.
Working from data, local market insight, and strong cross-functional collaboration, the Operations Manager translates diagnosis into action, setting targets, running fact-based analysis, and coordinating delivery across teams. The role leads and develops a team of specialists and is accountable for smarter, more efficient marketplace operations every day.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Owning marketplace health end-to-end, balancing supply and demand, optimising pricing and availability, and driving Finished Rides growth while reducing cancellations.
Being aware of local market competition and data on price and availability, and proposing and implementing pricing and availability-boosting tactics; setting up processes to collect, aggregate and analyse competition intel, and turning it into operational decisions and proposals to the Country Manager.
Leading city-level portfolio reviews and WBR/QBR inputs, diagnosing what is working and where the market is falling short, and translating this into customised action plans with clear targets and KPIs.
Running complex quantitative and qualitative analysis to produce fact-based recommendations, and aggregating product feedback into clear overviews of gaps to share with the Country Manager.
Project-managing initiatives from planning to implementation, coordinating workstreams across Business Development, Marketing, local and central Operations, Finance and Product / Engineering. Leading and developing a team of specialists: setting ambitious goals and clear action plans, steering towards high performance, coaching for growth, and building succession within the team.
Setting the quality bar for drivers and the marketplace through clear KPIs and monitoring processes, and ensuring driver-facing communications and rider support reflect rider satisfaction and preferences, both general and market-specific.
About you
Minimum of 2 years in an analytical, operations or commercial role, with clear progression towards ownership with experience leading or coordinating people and projects, including setting and owning targets. Project management experience, having led initiatives from scoping and planning through stakeholder coordination and delivery to deadline.
Highly analytical with a data-driven mindset and excellent Excel skills, able to build own analysis rather than only consuming reports.
Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills; a creative and efficient problem-solver.
Detail-oriented and organised, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
Enthusiastic about new technologies and ride-hailing, and dedicated to strengthening the rider and driver value proposition.
Fluency in Croatian and English.
