F5 Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced F5 Specialist to provide hands-on engineering and operational support across an enterprise F5 BIG-IP rSeries environment, with a strong focus on LTM and Advanced WAF.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement and support F5 BIG-IP LTM.
• Manage Virtual Servers, Pools, Monitors, Profiles, SNAT, persistence, iRules and LTM Policies.
• Configure and tune Advanced WAF policies, security signatures and false-positive remediation.
• Manage HA / DSC, SSL/TLS termination and certificate services.
• Troubleshoot F5, network and application connectivity using logs, packet captures and tcpdump.
• Perform F5 upgrades, migrations, configuration changes and performance optimisation.
• Integrate F5 with network, firewall, DNS and application infrastructure.
• Develop technical documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to operational teams.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on F5 BIG-IP LTM experience.
• Strong F5 Advanced WAF / ASM experience.
• Experience with HA / DSC and resilient architectures.
• Strong networking knowledge across TCP/IP, routing, VLANs and DNS.
• Advanced SSL/TLS and certificate management.
• Strong experience with iRules and LTM Policies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and packet-analysis skills.
• Experience with F5 upgrades, migrations and configuration changes.
• Experience in enterprise or government environments is desirable.
• F5 rSeries / R2800 experience is highly desirable.
• F5 certification is advantageous.
