This opportunity is based in Vancouver, where the Facility Assessment Consultant will focus on preparing Depreciation Reports, Capital Planning Reports, 2-5-10 Year Warranty Reviews, Building Condition Assessments, Due Diligence, and Pre-purchase Reviews for existing buildings. As a Facility Assessment Consultant at Entuitive, your duties and responsibilities will include the following: Collect field data and prepare Depreciation Reports, Capital Planning Reports, 2-5-10 Year Warranty Reviews, Building Condition Assessments, Due Diligence, and Pre-purchase Reviews. Prepare quantity takeoffs and budget estimates for reporting purposes. Develop business development skills to continue existing client relationships and build new ones. Work collaboratively with Property Managers, building owners, municipal government representatives, nonprofit organizations, and other consulting firms, tailoring our deliverables to meet their unique requirements and objectives. Implementation and adherence of Entuitive’s quality assurance programs to ensure that services meet Entuitive’s standards and our client’s expectations. Other responsibilities as required. What do you need to succeed? Degree or diploma from a minimum 2-year engineering or architectural program at an accredited university or college 3 to 8 years of experience preferred; candidates with direct experience in Engineering consulting related to new and/or existing buildings Understanding construction methods, materials, and systems. Ability to read and interpret building plans, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings. Strong time management and organizational skills; attention to detail; always willing to learn. Excellent project coordination skills and ability to plan and manage multiple deliverables. Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, etc. Excellent English language communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to manage complex situations with multiple stakeholders. Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision when needed but also enjoys collaboration and working as a team. Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle. Must be comfortable working at heights, including accessing roofs, ladders, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and scaffolding, where required. Willingness to travel for short-term out-of-town work. P.Eng., Architect AIBC, AScT, AACI, CRP, or PQS designation registered in BC would be considered an asset but not required. Why Entuitive?
