Family Law Intake Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and personable Intake Specialist to join one of our U.S. clients' teams.

The ideal candidate has prior experience supporting U.S. family law firms, thrives in a client-facing role, and combines excellent communication skills with a strong sales mindset. This position is responsible for managing new client inquiries, qualifying leads, scheduling consultations, and converting prospective clients into paying consultations.

While a strong sales background is essential, this role also requires previous experience supporting a U.S. law firm. If your experience is limited to sales and you have not worked in a legal environment before, this position might not be the right fit for you. Familiarity with legal intake processes, client interactions, and family law matters is required.

Who You Are

• An experienced Intake Specialist with hands-on experience supporting U.S.-based family law firms.
• Confident speaking with prospective clients and building rapport over the phone.
• Comfortable handling sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
• Results-driven with a proven ability to convert leads into scheduled paid consultations.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high volume of inbound inquiries.
• Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Familiar with Florida geography and comfortable assisting clients throughout the state.
• Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries from prospective clients.
• Conduct client intake and gather relevant information regarding family law matters.
• Follow up promptly with leads who have submitted inquiry forms or requested information.
• Qualify prospective clients and determine whether they are a good fit for the firm.
• Explain the firm's consultation process and successfully convert leads into paid consultations.
• Process consultation payments while scheduling appointments.
• Maintain accurate client records and update all communications within the CRM.
• Coordinate with attorneys and the legal team to ensure smooth client handoffs.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience throughout the intake process.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Previous experience as an Intake Specialist supporting a U.S. family law firm.
• Experience handling divorce and other family law matters.
• Previous experience working with Florida-based law firms is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience using Lawmatics (required).
• Strong sales experience with a demonstrated ability to convert leads into paying clients.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to client confidentiality.
