As an Agri-Mark Field Representative and FARM Program Evaluator in Field Services, you will be expected to gain knowledge and understanding of the Farmers Assuring Responsible Management (FARM) Program and administer this program fairly and effectively while also maintaining favorable and positive relationships with members to support on-farm regulatory compliance and member milk quality initiatives. This role would cover Northern Vermont and would be on the road (primarily day trips but may require overnight). The salary range for this role is $58-64k What you'll be doing: Resolve raw milk quality and component issues on assigned member operations and assist with implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO) requirements through a minimum of two facility inspections yearly. Attend and assist at scheduled Agri-Mark, Inc. member meetings as needed. Inform members of pertinent Agri-Mark, Inc. activities. Perform other duties as assigned Perform various FARM Program evaluations as a certified 2 nd party program evaluator; possibly across multiple program disciplines. Ensure compliance with all FARM Program requirements through a minimum of one facility evaluation every 3 years. Assist members with Mandatory Corrective Action Plan (MCAP) and Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) resolution. Inform members of pertinent AgriMark activities related to the FARM Program. Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of our AgriMark Field Staff FARM Program unit. What we are seeking: Ability to obtain and maintain a Certified Industry Milk Inspector permit. Ability to obtain and maintain a permit to weigh/sample milk in farm bulk tanks, direct load facilities and trailers. Ensure compliance for all USPH and FDA ratings and check ratings. Safely handle common CIP chemicals and make common sense recommendations regarding proper use. Establish and foster positive relationships with Agri-Mark, Inc. contracted milk haulers. Work cooperatively with Agri-Mark, Inc. Transportation coordinators and neighboring field staff. Keep and maintain up-to-date records for assigned members. Ability to learn and use basic computer tools and easily navigate our Agri-Mark, Inc. member website. Ability to obtain and maintain certification as a FARM Program 2 nd party evaluator; possibly in multiple program areas. Certifications are renewed on a yearly basis. Must be able to gain knowledge of and use the FARM Program database. Basic knowledge of email, internet and mobile device usage. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Administer all aspects of the FARM Program with the highest level of integrity. Keep and maintain up to date FARM Program records for assigned members. Advanced degree in a related agricultural or technology field or 5+ years of related experience. Connection to and knowledge of the local agricultural community. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Standing, kneeling, bending for extended periods in a challenging dairy facility environment. Able to lift 50 lbs. Periods of sitting for computer related work.
