Field Development Business Improvement Analyst

The Field Development Business Improvement Analyst is a business optimization-focused role responsible for improving performance, efficiency, and scalability across all Field Development departments, including Flex Team, Training, Contract Administration, Bidfast, and Financial Compliance. The roles may also support the Sr. Director on roles outside the Field Development umbrella to analyze, diagnose more complex issues and scenarios, improve and implement processes at the Branch level. This role combines Lean / Six Sigma methodologies with advanced data analysis and automation to identify inefficiencies, eliminate waste, and drive continuous improvement. The Analyst is responsible for designing and managing structured data streams, developing dashboards that provide clear business visibility, and leading initiatives that translate insights into measurable operational improvements. Works independently under limited supervision and works closely with department leaders and the Senior Director. This role serves as a key driver of data-enabled process optimization, ensuring consistent execution, strong performance management, and scalable business practices across the organization. This is a remote position due to high level of travel requirements. The posted hiring range represents a general guideline; compensation will be determined using location‑based market data across North America and may vary accordingly. Data Strategy & KPI Frameworks • Design and maintain automated data streams across departments • Define and standardize KPIs aligned to business objectives • Apply structured methodologies (DMAIC) to identify gaps and root causes Success Metrics: • KPI adoption across departments • Data accuracy and reporting reliability • Reduction in manual reporting effort Dashboarding & Performance Storytelling • Build dashboards that clearly communicate performance trends and risks • Translate complex data into actionable insights • Support leadership decision-making through visibility Success Metrics: • Dashboard usage and adoption • Reduced time to identify issues • Stakeholder satisfaction and usability Business Optimization & Continuous Improvement • Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and independently propose solutions to the Department Manager and/or Sr. Director of Field Development • Apply Lean / Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and variation • Drive improvements in cycle time, cost, and quality Success Metrics: • Cycle time reduction and efficiency gains • Reduced variation/defects • Completed initiatives with measurable outcomes Automation & Workflow Efficiency • Design and implement automation solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel) • Reduce manual processes and improve data accuracy • Streamline workflows across departments Success Metrics: • Reduction in manual touchpoints • Increased process efficiency and throughput • Decrease in errors tied to manual work Project Execution & Change Implementation • Lead and support improvement initiatives as structured projects • Partner with leaders to prioritize and work with limited supervision to execute changes • Track performance and sustain improvements Success Metrics: • % of projects delivered on time • Achievement of target outcomes • Sustained improvements without regression Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field. Technical/Professional Accreditation (e.g. license, certification, designation): Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps). Experience in process mapping, data modeling, and dashboard design required Minimum related experience in years: 4-6
