We're Sharp Performance

Sharp Performance exists so that everyone who answers the call has someone in their corner who has walked in their shoes.

We help first responders and their spouses thrive through confidential coaching from people with similar lived experience. Our coaches have carried the badge, worn the gear, or stood beside someone who did. Through our mobile platform, we connect law enforcement, firefighters, and other frontline professionals with coaches who understand the job because they have lived it.

We're early-stage and backed by amazing investors. The team is small enough that your work shows up in the rollout, the product, and the customer's experience within weeks. If building something that matters alongside people who hold a high standard sounds better than a safe seat somewhere else, come build it with us.

The Opportunity

Sharp Performance is hiring a Field Marketing Manager to run our event program across the public safety market. You will report to the SVP of Marketing and work day to day with Sales.

Events are a pipeline channel for Sharp, not a branding exercise. Your job is to get the right people to our booth and our meetings, capture every conversation, and hand qualified leads to Sales fast. Event selection and the overall strategy sit with the SVP of Marketing. You make each event we choose pay off.

This role suits someone with a few years of field or event marketing behind them who wants to own execution end to end and learn the public safety market from the inside.

What You'll Do

Before each event, you manage registrations, booth logistics, shipping, collateral, travel, and budget. You also build email and LinkedIn outreach with Marketing and Sales so meetings are booked before anyone arrives at the venue.

Onsite, you staff the booth, start conversations with officers, command staff, and agency leaders, and capture every lead with notes. You keep the account executives' meeting schedules and materials on track.

After the event, you get leads into HubSpot that week, qualify them with Sales, and track which ones turn into meetings and opportunities. You report meetings booked, leads captured, opportunities created, and cost per lead for each event so the SVP of Marketing can decide where to invest next, and you write down what worked and what did not.

What We're Looking For

You have 3 to 5 years running B2B events, conferences, or field programs, including the work before and after the event, not only the logistics. Experience marketing or selling to law enforcement, fire, EMS, or adjacent public safety markets is a plus. If you have not worked in this market, you are ready to learn how agencies are structured and who makes decisions.

You also bring:

  • The organization to keep a dozen moving pieces on schedule without anything falling through
  • The confidence to start a conversation with a stranger, ask good questions, and know when to pull in a salesperson
  • A pipeline mindset: you measure an event by meetings and qualified leads, not badge scans
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot or a comparable CRM, email campaign tools, and event registration platforms
  • Willingness to travel to events, often several per month during conference season
  • Comfort with ambiguity, fast changes, and doing the hands-on work yourself

Why You'll Want to Be Here

You run the event program, and the results are yours. You will spend your time with the people we serve and have a direct line into what's happening in the market. Sharp is a Series A company growing quickly, already working with 100+ public safety agencies, and backed by Andreessen Horowitz and investors behind some of the world's most successful technology companies. Your work helps improve the health, performance, and longevity of the people who run toward danger.

The package includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible PTO
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Access to the same performance coaches we offer our clients
