FIELD MARKETING MANAGER (Remote, Americas)
SUMMARY
Cadence is seeking an experienced Field Marketing Manager to join the North America Field Marketing & Events team. This role will develop and execute field marketing strategies and programs that support regional business priorities, strengthen customer engagement, generate demand, and help influence pipeline and business growth.
A critical part of this role is partnering closely with North America Sales leadership and account teams to understand business and customer priorities, determine where marketing can have the greatest impact, and translate those needs into targeted programs.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on B2B field marketer with a strong event marketing background. This individual must be equally comfortable partnering with Sales on strategy and priorities as they are driving execution in the field, creating high-quality events and customer experiences from planning through on-site delivery and follow-up.
WHAT YOU WILL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Develop and execute North America field marketing strategies and programs aligned with Sales priorities, business objectives, target accounts, and growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with Sales leadership and account teams, serving as a trusted marketing partner and maintaining regular alignment on priorities and opportunities.
- Partner with Sales to determine where marketing should focus and why, translating business needs into programs that strengthen customer engagement, generate demand, and help influence pipeline and business growth.
- Lead the strategy and execution of customer events, executive engagements, industry events, trade shows, workshops, webinars, and other field programs.
- Own the event experience from planning through on-site execution, ensuring programs are well executed, engaging, and aligned with business objectives and target audiences.
- Drive demand generation through targeted marketing programs and account-focused engagement strategies.
- Partner across Business Units, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and other teams to align programs, messaging, audiences, and execution.
- Manage program budgets, vendors, timelines, logistics, and resources while maintaining a high standard of execution.
- Establish program objectives and success metrics, analyze results, and use insights to improve future programs and marketing investments.
- Drive Sales alignment and post-program follow-up to help turn engagement into meaningful customer conversations and opportunities.
- Communicate marketing plans, results, insights, and recommendations to Sales and Marketing stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 10+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, event marketing, demand generation, or related disciplines, with significant experience developing regional marketing strategies and leading complex field programs.
- Experience developing targeted marketing programs that complement field activities and support regional business priorities.
- Strong event marketing experience, including strategy, planning, production, and on-site execution of customer events, executive engagements, industry events, trade shows, workshops, and other field programs.
- Strong experience partnering with Sales leaders and account teams to understand business priorities and develop effective marketing strategies and programs.
- Proven ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level—from advising stakeholders and developing plans to driving successful programs in the field.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of how marketing supports customer engagement, demand generation, Sales effectiveness, and business growth.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong analytical skills with experience measuring program effectiveness and using results to inform decisions.
- Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Strong ownership, judgment, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
PARTNERSHIP & COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Ability to build trusted relationships with Sales, Business Unit, and Marketing stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across multiple teams and priorities.
- Comfortable presenting marketing plans, results, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ability to influence decision-making and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Effective communicator who can translate business objectives into actionable marketing programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant B2B field marketing and/or event marketing experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing regional field marketing programs in partnership with Sales.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex in-person events from strategy and planning through on-site execution.
- Ability to independently manage multiple programs and stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
