Field Service Engineer – Newcastle

About Your Role If you are an experienced and skilled, hands-on Generator Field Service Engineer with a keen eye for detail and are looking for a new challenge where you can make a real impact, this role is for you! With your strong communication skills, and proactive approach, we are looking for you to come join our fantastic team at CES Power! You'll be the go-to expert for maintaining, servicing and repairing generators at our valued customer sites, which will bring a mix of troubleshoot i ng, problem solving and travel. What you'll be doing You'll undertake maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of generators to ensure performance and reliability. With your problem solving abilities, you will diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing solutions to minimise downtime, or escalate to the Technical Team for additional support if things are a little tricker. You will support the business with being part of the on-call rota. Safely travel to customer sites and carry out planned, and reactive work, delivering great customer service and support, whatever the event. As someone who can work independently, you will prioritise your workload, and ensure that your van is also stocked up, to ensure you have the right tools for the job to maximise first time fixes, every time. What you'll bring You will bring your proactive and problem-solving abilities, ready to take on any challenge NVQ L3 or City and Guilds equivalent electrical and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in power engineering or a similar industry As an experienced engineer, your own tools...that one's kinda important! Maybe this one goes without saying, but a dr ivers license, too! What we can give you Unlimited OT earning opportunities.
