Finance Analyst | Insurance | $130k + Super + Bonus
Suitable for first movers from practice with established Australian Insurance industry exposure.
Sponsorship is not available for this role.
A newly created FP&A opportunity with a growing global insurance business, offering genuine commercial exposure, an attractive benefits package and excellent work-life balance.
About the business
I'm delighted to be exclusively partnered with a well-established international specialty insurance business with a growing presence across the Asia-Pacific region. As the business continues to expand, the APAC operation is on an exciting growth trajectory, with ambitions to approach $1bn in scale over the coming years.
With a strong global platform, an entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative culture, the business offers an opportunity to join a growing team where finance plays an important role in supporting commercial performance and strategic decision-making.
The opportunity
Reporting directly to the local finance lead, this newly created Finance Analyst position has been established to support continued business growth.
The role is predominantly focused on financial planning and analysis, with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance reporting. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making and help drive ongoing improvements across the finance function.
With core management accounting activities largely managed at group level, this role offers a strong focus on forward-looking analysis rather than traditional month-end accounting.
Key responsibilities will include:
You'll be an analytically minded finance professional with experience within the insurance industry and a genuine interest in FP&A and commercial analysis.
You'll bring a combination of technical capability, commercial curiosity and the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business.
To be successful, you'll ideally demonstrate:
If you're an insurance finance professional looking for a predominantly FP&A-focused role with strong commercial exposure, an attractive benefits package and genuine flexibility, we'd welcome a confidential discussion.
