This is a remote role, with the successful candidate required to be based within the region. Frequent travel across South West England and Wales, and to other Priory locations, will be required, including overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is essential.
This role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

- Evaluating business cases and new opportunities to drive commercial growth.
- Maintaining strong financial controls and investigating financial discrepancies.
- Attending monthly business reviews with the Managing Director, recommending actions to improve performance.
- Building financial awareness across services through guidance and training for non-finance colleagues.
- Contributing to wider Group projects and operational improvements.
What you'll bring to the role
You will bring experience as a Commercial Manager, Management Accountant or in a similar finance role, with a strong understanding of financial management and commercial performance.
You’ll be confident working autonomously, balancing competing priorities and translating financial insights into practical solutions that improve business performance.
With strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, you’ll be able to:
- Identify opportunities to improve financial and commercial performance.
- Build effective relationships with senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving improvements.
- Translate financial information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Improve financial awareness and support better decision-making across services.
