This is a 6-Month Contract (Maternity Cover) where you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations and monthly reporting activities. You will be part of the Singapore Finance Team and work closely with Group Finance and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and smooth execution of finance processes throughout the maternity cover period. What will you be doing? Manage month-end closing activities and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Group and statutory requirements. Review revenue transactions and ensure revenue is appropriately recognised and recorded in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Prepare and submit financial statements and reporting packages for Group consolidation, and provide financial analysis and supporting information for management and Group Finance as required. Review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely resolution. Prepare weekly cash flow reports, monitor cash position and working capital performance, and highlight key movements and variances to relevant stakeholders. Review and submit quarterly GST F5 returns and Corporate Income Tax filings in compliance with Singapore tax requirements. Review and coordinate the preparation and submission of US Federal Income Tax Returns for the US subsidiary. Monitor accounts receivable and actively follow up with customers on outstanding balances to drive timely collections. Coordinate vendor payments and intercompany recharge/settlements, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents and provide the necessary financial information and supporting schedules. Respond to ad hoc finance requests and adapt to changing priorities as required. Maintain thorough documentation of all finance processes, recurring tasks, and key contacts throughout the engagement, and actively support a structured handover at the end of the cover period to ensure continuity and minimal disruption to ongoing finance operations. Who are you? Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, with experience in Singapore corporate accounting preferred. Good understanding of month-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting controls. Experience in Group reporting and financial consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations, is preferred. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, manage competing priorities, and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous with strong attention to detail, and a curiosity to identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement. Familiarity with IFRS and/or Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to resolving issues. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, Group Finance, auditors, tax agents, and external parties. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is preferred. Available to start immediately or at short notice.
