Finance Manager (ACA, ACCA e.t.c Mandatory, 500k Net Salary)

We are looking for a mid-level finance professional who can combine sound financial management with business analysis, strategic thinking, and tax expertise.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant and qualified tax professional with advanced Excel skills, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to turn financial data into practical business recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to support business decisions.

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, costs, and financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.

• Build financial models and evaluate business opportunities, projects, pricing, and investment decisions.

• Analyse business performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to profitability and operational efficiency.

• Support strategic planning and translate business objectives into measurable financial targets.

• Manage tax computations, filings, reconciliations, and compliance with applicable tax requirements.

• Support tax planning and coordinate with external advisers, auditors, and relevant authorities.

• Strengthen financial controls, reporting processes, and the accuracy of financial records.

• Collaborate with teams across the business and communicate insights clearly to management.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• 4–5 years of relevant experience covering finance, business analysis or strategy, and taxation.

• Chartered Accountant qualification, such as ACA or ACCA is mandatory.

• A recognised professional tax qualification, such as CITN.

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modelling, complex formulas, PivotTables, and Power Query.

• Strong knowledge of Nigerian taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Availability to work onsite in Lagos 2–3 days per week and travel occasionally.
