Finance Manager Group Accounting To support our Finance organization, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager Group Accounting (ad interim). In this role, you will combine strong people leadership with solid accounting expertise, leading a team of accounting professionals while driving key finance transformation and improvement projects. You will be responsible for the overall coordination of the accounting function, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and the successful execution of monthly and year-end closing activities. You will lead and coach a team of 9 direct reports across Project Accounting, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement. The assignment 1) People Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach & motivate a team of 9 finance professionals. Create a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Drive engagement and foster a culture of cooperation, accountability, and continuous learning. 2) Accounting & Financial Closing Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Lead the year-end closing cycle and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Monitor compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements. Review key balance sheet reconciliations and closing controls. Coordinate internal and external audit activities where required. 3) Project & Change Management Lead and contribute to challenging finance and transformation projects. Support change management activities and help teams adapt to new ways of working. Partner closely with stakeholders across Finance and the business to identify efficiencies and strengthen collaboration. Required knowledge and skills You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Having at least 8 years relevant experience is mandatory. You have a proven experience in accounting leadership within a complex organization. You have a strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and closing processes. You have a relevant experience managing and developing teams. Strong coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills are mandatory. You already led change and continuous improvement initiatives. Hands-on mentality with a willingness to dive into operational challenges when required Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience with SAP is a strong asset. Able to work effectively in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
