Summary/Objective Primarily responsible for the day-to-day oversight of a team of Financial Coordinators who focus on maintaining financial and operational systems input. Communicate with Clients, vendors, internal business partners and external business partners on critical escalations and Client relationship support. The individual promotes adherence to policies and procedures and provides oversight to Client exceptions. Individual provides coaching and leadership to direct reports. Essential Functions Manage customer inventory Process and reconcile financial transactions in NetSuite, AutoIMS, and RDN Reconcile financial bookkeeping/accounting journal entries and records Coaching and mentoring direct reports to improve overall Client experience and team performance. Participates in performance evaluation of personnel performance. Communicate with internal and external business partners along with key Clients and stakeholders on inquiries, issue resolution, and best practice recommendations Create new reports of best practice opportunities and cost savings. Identify Client exceptions and review overall financial analysis for Clients Provides guidance and leadership to employees and/or customers for daily activities and assigned projects or tasks May have project management responsibilities Regular and substantial contact with others . Contacts usually involve discussions related to policies and programs and may include proposal or presentation writing, negotiation with vendors, and the like. Handles sensitive, complex, and/or confidential information. Assesses and diffuses problem situations and requires influencing others to reach consensus. Requires tact and diplomacy to handle difficult customer/internal situations. Requires advanced interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain internal and external customer relationships. Explores alternatives and creative solutions to meeting the needs of the customer. Performs duties within scope of general Company policies, procedures and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures and practices. Refers exceptions to policy and procedures to the supervisor. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Physical Requirements This position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
