Our CENTURIA CAPITAL client is an ASX-200 listed investment manager specializing in real estate funds and investment bonds. The group has a strong growth focus, with assets under management of $21 billion as of 30 June 2023.

Our client offers investments in listed and unlisted property across 460+ high quality office, industrial and healthcare buildings around Australia and New Zealand.

Job Overview:

Employment type: Full-time

Shift: AU working hours

Work setup: The position is on a hybrid set-up 3 times work onsite and 2 times work from home, Monday to Friday on a morning shift. The office is located at The Curve, 11th Floor, 32nd Street corner 3rd Avenue, BGC, Taguig City

Role Overview:

An experienced finance professional to support statutory and management reporting, tax compliance, and financial control across listed property funds in Australia and New Zealand. The role will cover budgeting, forecasting, treasury, audits, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while working closely with stakeholders across the business and supporting junior team members.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a finance professional with strong corporate reporting experience, ideally with a CA qualification and a background in commercial, corporate, or property funds.

The ideal candidate has property or funds management experience, strong Excel and analytical skills, and experience with financial reporting, tax, budgeting, and forecasting. Big 4 experience is an advantage, along with exposure to OneSource Accounts Production and MRI.

Key Requirements

· The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Corporate Reporting, preferably CA qualified with commercial, corporate or property fund experience.

· Big 4 experience prior to commercial roles and experience in property and funds management will be well regarded.

The ideal candidate will also be/have:

· System experience (OneSource Accounts Production for financial statements, MRI property management system)

· Property experience

· Team player, exhibits flexibility for different tasks and willingness to learn

· Ability to work independently and utilize a level of initiative

· Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize

· A high attention to detail

· Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

· Strong excel and analytical skills

What You’ll Be Working On:

· Financial control of listed structures

· Preparation of deliverables for listed financial reporting

· Exposure to various asset classes including, Industrial, Commercial and Data Centre

· Exposure to Investor Relations including Investor Report for listed entities

· Budgeting and rolling Forecasting, including the review and consolidation of property commentary from various sources

· External Audit management

· Preparation and review of tax calculations (GST, PAYG, annual income tax calculations)

· Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, month-end journals and monthly management reporting

· Management of fund level middle and back-office treasury operations, including, maintenance of the treasury systems, funding as well as covenant management

· Providing coaching and guidance to more junior team members

· Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual reporting processes

· Liaising with multiple stakeholders across business units to identify new and implement improvements to existing workflows
