FINANCE OFFICER
Luxury Resort | Rustenburg, North West
An exciting opportunity is available for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer to join the finance team of a luxury resort. This role is suited to a finance professional who can manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and work closely with operational teams to support effective financial management.
The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining remote work with regular on-site collaboration. Candidates must be based within reasonable travelling distance of the property and willing to travel to site as required.

THE ROLE
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Manage reconciliations, journal entries, expense allocations, debtors and creditors.
- Monitor budgets, analyse variances and support cost-control initiatives.
- Assist with VAT calculations, statutory compliance and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate audit requirements and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee weekly payment processes and ensure accurate, timely authorisation.
- Verify payroll figures and assist with cost of sales and payroll reconciliations.
- Collaborate with operational teams, participate in stock counts and maintain internal financial controls.
- A qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or relevant bookkeeping experience.
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
