The Role

The Finance & Operations AI Automation Intern will support the modernization and optimization of business processes through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation technologies, and data analytics. This role works closely with Finance, Operations, and Business Transformation teams to identify manual processes, develop automation solutions, create reporting dashboards, and leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, data quality, and decision-making.

This internship provides hands-on experience with process automation, data analysis, AI-enabled solutions, and digital transformation initiatives within a corporate environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Analyzing existing finance and operational processes to identify automation opportunities.

• Developing and maintaining AI-assisted workflows and automation solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Power Automate, and Excel.

• Supporting the creation of dashboards and reports using Power BI to track operational performance and business metrics.

• Assisting in streamlining repetitive administrative and reporting activities through automation.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, document business processes, and recommend efficiency improvements.

• Designing and test automated solutions while ensuring data accuracy and process reliability.

• Supporting data collection, cleansing, validation, and analysis activities.

• Researching emerging AI and automation technologies and recommend practical business applications.

• Creating process documentation, user guides, and training materials for implemented solutions.

• Participating in continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives across Finance and Operations functions.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will demonstrate competencies in the following areas:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Interest in AI, automation, process improvement, and digital transformation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot, or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or low-code/no-code automation platforms.
• Understanding of finance, operations, project management, or business process workflows.
