About the team & this role

This person will be the operational engine of the Finance department, combining accounting and treasury. You'll be the go-to person for the full transactional cycle: from invoice to payment, from journal entry to close.

What you'll do

• Manage the supplier invoice cycle: coordinate the flow with Procurement, control the pipeline of pending invoices and resolve issues with internal teams and suppliers.

• Record invoices in the ERP and maintain supplier master data.

• Classify invoices by cost center and project, and review that they are correctly allocated.

• Prepare monthly payment proposals: check due dates, contractual terms and supporting documentation.

• Execute payments (SEPA batches) and monthly payroll, and follow up on their correct posting.

• Support the monthly closing process: accruals, provisions, reconciliations and review of entries.

• Record and control fixed assets and inventory (assets under construction, capitalizations and depreciation), including physical-to-book reconciliation with the Supply Chain team.

• Handle bank reconciliation, monitor cash position and support treasury forecasting.

• Support the accounting of customer invoicing and employee expense management (cards and expense reports).

• Coordinate subsidiary consolidation together with local advisors in each country, and support tax matters (VAT, SII, withholdings, Corporate Income Tax).

• Coordinate the annual external audit and prepare supporting documentation.

• Improve, document and automate the department's transactional processes.

What you bring

• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, treasury, finance operations or audit, ideally in industrial or CAPEX-intensive environments.

• Knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC) and IFRS, and of the full accounting cycle.

• Knowledge of fixed asset and inventory accounting (assets under construction, capitalizations, depreciation).

• Hands-on SAP experience (a must).

• Familiarity with payment processes (SEPA, online banking) and bank reconciliation.

• Rigor and attention to detail when working with high transaction volumes.

• A process-improvement mindset: you document, standardize and automate.

• Autonomy and ownership.

• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments (Procurement, Supply Chain, HR) and external advisors.

• Advanced Excel.

• Professional Spanish and English.

Bonus if you have

• Exposure to Spanish taxation (VAT/SII).

• Experience with audit processes.

• Experience with automation tools, data analysis or AI applied to finance processes.
