Finance Operations Specialist - Cash & Banking (6 month contract)

About the role:

Reports to the Finance Manager Finance Operations

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to support the continued growth in our business, through the provision of timely and accurate delivery of balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow and cash management in accordance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of all Group Bank Reconciliations for the Aztec Group across multiple banks and jurisdictions ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all deliveries

• Proactive management of cash and bank processing ensuring outstanding and unreconciled items are minimised with no delays

• Proactive delivery of cash movements to deliver inter-company transactions ensuring completeness and coordination

• Ownership of inter-company loan and dividend transactions

• Ownership and close monitoring of daily bank balances and short term cash planning and identification of funding requirements

• Planning and project management of all Treasury and Banking activities including supporting the management of the ASL

• Cash reporting weekly and as required, including payment planning

• Ownership of Aztec Credit Card programs and required transactions

• Support bank platform requirements including user management and approver planning.

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

• The candidate will be expected to be part qualified or studying toward a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)

• Relevant experience in Finance and accounting with a focus on cash management and collections

• Experience of producing thoughtful and relevant management information

• Good Excel skills essential, system experience of Workday Financials Concur, and banking Platforms beneficial

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, internal customers and business contacts.

• Ability to self-motivate, be proactive and take ownership, combined with a team-work mentality vital
