We are building the infrastructure for the next phase of financial compliance and digital transformation in the region, with a strong focus on e-invoicing and scalable financial operations Job Purpose The Financial Account Manager leads the financial delivery for assigned clients, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting. They oversee onboarding, manage invoicing and collections, and coordinate the preparation and presentation of financial reports. In parallel, they maintain strong client relationships, handle ongoing support and communication, and contribute to business growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Note: this role supports overseas clients and may align with client market calendars and public holidays to ensure continuity of service and operational effectiveness. Primary Responsibilities Act as the primary financial advisor for a portfolio of clients, overseeing end-to-end financial service delivery. Present and explain financial reports to clients, respond to queries, and ensure accuracy and relevance. Represent the company in high-level client meetings and planning sessions, strengthening trust and long-term relationships. Lead onboarding for new clients: system setup, document collection, and service kickoff. Oversee daily accounting activities (journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR), ensuring local compliance (UAE/KSA). Lead month-end and quarter-end closings, posting adjustments and delivering accurate draft financials. Finalize financial reports: income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules. Review and reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, receivables, and payables monthly. Ensure full compliance with accounting standards (IFRS or equivalent) and local statutory requirements in the UAE and KSA. Collaborate with assigned Accountants to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting. Collaborate closely with the Tax team to ensure seamless integration between accounting and tax services, aligning bookkeeping practices with tax compliance requirements. Own billing preparation and ensure invoice accuracy before release; follow up on collections. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities through close client interaction and awareness of service needs. Respond to client operational queries and escalate strategic issues to the Financial Services Manager when needed. Mentor and review work prepared by Accountants, offering technical support and quality checks. Propose and implement process improvements; help document SOPs and optimize tool usage. Support ad-hoc tasks (e.g., budget vs. actual, backlog, inventory management, etc.). Promote operational excellence by training junior staff and supporting system/process upgrades . Additional certifications e.g., IFRS, CA, CPA Part-qualified are a plus 5–7 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a client-servicing or outsourced finance role. Experience managing a portfolio of SME clients is highly desirable Strong proficiency in accounting software. Comfortable working with trial balances, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and generating financial reports Good command of Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, basic formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.) Ability to handle day-to-day communication with clients confidently and professionally Experience presenting financials and answering client queries related to reports or bookkeeping Highly organized and capable of managing multiple client accounts Strong attention to detail and sense of accountability for report accuracy and timelines Fluency in English (B2+) is required.
