Financial Accountant - Newly Qualified - 12-month FTC

Our client is a growing, Irish business headquartered in Dublin City. They are looking for a Recently Qualified Accountant (0-2 years PQE) to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract as Financial Accountant, in a role that offers exposure to every aspect of the finance function.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Operating within a small team, they are expanding into new areas of the business. This role will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the finance function, with great exposure to senior finance leaders.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the monthly management accounts and cash flow forecasting;
• Preparation of management and board reporting;
• Supporting the annual audit and the preparation of the financial statements;
• Reviewing and analysing operational reports from a financial perspective;
• Managing finance systems and records through an outsourced service provider;
• Supporting business development work, including due diligence and financial modelling.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified Accountant with 0-2 years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA);
• Big 4 practice trained;
• Commercially minded;
• A motivated self-starter and team player;
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with excellent attention to detail.
